Site Structural Engineer - Ted Jacob Engineering Group
Ted Jacob Engineering Group is looking for an Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will*have experience in the design from concept to delivery of residential, commercial, hospitality and healthcare projects.
1.- Developing concept design and philosophy working independently.
2.- Undertaking project coordination with all other trades, architects and represent the company in
client meetings.
3.- coordinate with all project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the project.
4.- Should be actively involved in all stages of project and ensuring exemplary service offered to clients*at all time.
5.- Leading a site supervision team and responsible for site inspections, quality of work, coordination*and Health and Safety issues.
6.- Reviewing engineering submittals such as materials, shop drawings, calculations, technical queries,*variations, contractor payments, certificates, etc.
7.- Should have exposure to design and construction knowledge about all types of structural systems.
i.e. cast in situ, post tensioned, pre-cast, to name a few.
8.- Should have delivered the design of projects from concept to construction documentation.
9.- Should have supervised construction of projects until handling over.
10.- Should have some design and construction knowledge of the various types of building foundations.
11.- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
12.- Well versed in the use of design software such as Safe / ETABS, etc.
13.- Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations.
14.- Compiling specifications and contributing to tendering procedures.
15.- Resolving design and development problems.
16.- Should be well versed with construction cost and related trends in the international market.
