Procurement Engineer- Electrical(UPDA Certified) - Sharaka Holdings
As a Procurement Engineer (electrical) you will be reporting to the Procurement Manager. As a successful Procurement engineer you should be able to analyze purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in technical specifications, quality standards, quantities and deliveries, to identify potential vendors, develop selection criteria and pre-qualification, to develop and Issue request for Quotation (RFQ) to qualified vendors, to evaluate Bids to ensure technical and commercial compliance, to negotiate final price with vendors by devising and utilizing the appropriate strategy through online bidding (Ariba) offline negotiation to ensure optimum total cost of ownership.
Also you will be responsible to issue Purchase Orders Contracts and expedite timely deliveries. You will control stock levels by varying delivery schedules, by analyzing vendor Performance Rating and Management. Review and negotiate contractual agreements to ensure minimization*of commercial risk and liability. Ensure that the processes, procedures and related timeliness comply to organisations standard Procurement Processes & Policies. Maintain proper records of procurement related activities for any future reference or audit requirements. Review, achieve and report on the status of KRAs Achieved.
